One of five Cuban agents convicted or espionage permitted to visit Cuba, returns to U.S.

Rene Gonzalez, one of the five Cuban agents convicted of espionage in the United States, returned Friday to leave U.S. soil after a fortnight to visit the island, Cuban state television said. Gonzalez, who has served 13 years in prison and since late 2011 is on probation but required to remain in the U.S., had requested permission to visit his sick brother. Read Article
