Nicaragua Elections Without Major Incidents

The presidential and legislative elections in Nicaragua take place in calm and order, police officials said they expect that atmosphere prevails throughout the day, including when results are known.

The situation is ‘perfectly normal’, unlike the events took place Saturday when violence ‘sporadic’ in selected municipalities in the country, told reporters the national director of the Police of Nicaragua, Commissioner Aminta Granera. Read Article
