Morelos Mexico: Increase in number of assaults, robberies by pirate taxis

Leaders confirmed that transport has increased the number of users who are assaulted by illegal cab drivers. Dealers without fixed route public transportation (taxi) alerted the public on criminals posing as drivers to rob people and let them run in remote areas. Lara Victor Alarcon, president of the Confederation of the State of Morelos Taxis, confirmed that in recent months increased cases of users who were assaulted or kidnapped express way to steal all the money from your credit card or debit card. These criminals, said the leading carrier operating in vehicles, “pirates” and rarely do franchised units, under the protection of one dealer. Read Article
