Mexico World’s Second Largest Exporter of Trafficking Victims

On July 31, 2013 Notisistema Noticias reported that, according to the A.C. Social Welfare and Humanitarian Assistance Foundation (ASAHAC), Mexico currently ranks second worldwide among exporters of human trafficking victims, after Thailand. According to ASAHAC director Diana Evelyn Mata Monreal, the country ranks at the top of victims of human trafficking, including child and sex trafficking victims.
ASAHAC works through various programs and institutions to generate awareness regarding trafficking victims. Read Article
