Mexico: Water pollution decreases fishing activity in Tuxpan

During the last five years the fishing activity in Tuxpan has decreased greatly as a result of water pollution. Several companies dump toxic their wastes into the Tampamacho lagoon, causing the death of numerous fish species. Fish production used to rage approximately a ton per week, today production it has decreased to 50 kilograms per week. Read Article
