Mexico: suicide figures,Yucatán highest numbers

Post INEGI that in 2010 suicides recorded in Mexico doubled those recorded during 1990 and 5000 that reached 12, this despite that the country has one of the lowest rates for this type of mortality .

Notably in 1990 there was a rate of 2.3 persons whom committed suicide for every 100,000 inhabitants, which was recorded in 2010 the level rose to 4.5 for the same situation.

According to the INEGI discloses an aspect of suicide in Mexico is that urban areas this cause of death has a higher proportion of rural comparison.

It also mentions that the states that have a high level of mortality in this problem is in Yucatán (10.5), Quintana Roo (10), Campeche (7.5) and with respect to Baja California Sur (7.1) that for every 100 000 inhabitants.
