Mexico: six million cases of those diagnosed with diabetes, major threat to health of nation

Elpais.com reported that about 6 million and a half of Mexicans have been diagnosed with diabetes and it is estimated that this figure will be rising due to the high number of overweight and obese adults, that together they reach 48 million people, according to the national health and nutrition 2012 survey.
