Mexico, San Felipe businesses closing due to drop in tourism

The first two months of the year showed a lower influx of tourism in the port of San Felipe, representing low sales in the retail and hotel sectors, said Roberto Ledón Perezchica.

The delegate from San Felipe said that foreign tourists, Americans and residents called “snowbirds” who live in port six to eight months in the winter period, decreased significantly from 2010 to 2011. Read Article
