Mexico: Remittances lose prominence in the Mexican economy

According to La Prensa, the remittances sent by more than 10 million Mexican workers in the United States will cease to be an important source of income for the Mexican Economy. That is what Jaime Ros, a consultant from the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (CEPAL), said in his comparative study of the Canadian and Mexican economies in the period of 1994-2011.
