Mexico: Leader of Human Trafficking group, detained

The leader of a human trafficking organization was arrested March 31 in Tenancingo, State of Mexico, United States authorities announced yesterday. Paulino Ramírez Granados was on the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) list of 10 most wanted human traffickers. An investigation into the Granados organization began in 2000 when a victim who had been smuggled into the U.S. and forced into prostitution in New York told her story to authorities. Read Article
