Mexico: Doctor arrested for trafficking in human organs

Proceso.com.mx reported in Puebla of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), Francisco Garcia Fraile, the doctor confirmed that this institution, Landini Ruben Maldonado, was referred to the San Miguel prison, accused of alleged organ trafficking.

The official said that the agency will continue to research if there are more people involved in the complaint lodged by the claimant Luz María Vázquez Carmona with the Attorney General’s Office (PGR).

In the lawsuit, the woman accused of trying to sell physician in half a million dollars a kidney to his son.
