Mexico develops super computer

The Center for Research and Advanced Studies (CINVESTAV) plans to expand the processing cluster supercomputer Xiuhcoatl (fire serpent), which, since its opening, has yielded positive results for 23 of 49 projects have been completed.

Xiuhcoatl , is the largest and fastest supercomputer in the country and the second largest in Latin America. However, with the increase of its cluster hybrid teraflops 25 to 90 are expected to be part of the world’s major GRIDs. Read Article
