Mexico City, Mexico: 32 Sex Trafficking Victims Rescued in Upscale Zona Rosa Neighborhood

On August 10, 2013 Zócalo Saltillo Noticias reported the rescue of 26 foreign women and six Mexican women, the apparent victims of sex trafficking, from the Zona Rosa neighborhood of Mexico City. The rescued foreign victims include Russian, Ukrainian, Venezuelan and Colombian nationals. Police also arrested three of the suspected traffickers, while not ruling out whether additional arrests will be made in connection with the case. Read Article
