Mexico: Two Bodyguards of Nuevo Leon’s Governor Murdered

Two bodyguards, part of the security team for the governor of Nuevo León, Rodrigo Medina, were murdered in the town of Guadalupe, Radio Formula reports. The governor is known for his stance against organized crime and threats against him were found on the bodies of the guards. The governor issued a statement via Twitter that he would not let the threats keep him from working to keep the state safe. He also offered his support and condolences to the families of the victims.
