Mexico, 400 teachers involved in work stoppage because of insecurity issues

Denounce alleged threats of extortion and kidnapping, the State Department of Education asked schools not to stop activities. Before the work stoppage than 400 basic education teachers and 80 schools belonging to the sector 4 comprising six school zones, for alleged extortion and kidnapping threats, school officials and agreed to strengthen public safety operations, checkpoints and patrols outside the educational institutions.
