Mexico: 30 percent of palms and banana trees infected with red mite in Quintana Roo

30% of the palms and banana grown in Quintana Roo to Belize frontier is affected by the red mite. The problem is worrisome because the plants dry out quickly and limits its growth.

President of the State Committee of Plant Protection, Sergio Morteo Crisanto said the view detracts from Chetumal Bay Boulevard over the months since the palm trees take on a yellowish involvement. Read Article
