Mexico: 120 Central Americans Kidnapped by Los Zetas

A group of 120 from Central America – 41 Guatemalans, 40 Hondurans and 43 Salvadorans – were taking a train from Oaxaca to Veracruz on June 24 when they were kidnapped, Prensa Libre reports. Early investigations indicate that the train was intercepted by at least 12 armed men belonging to the drug cartel Los Zetas. According to witnesses, the men forced the foreigners to get into one of several Suburbans before taking them away. The current whereabouts of the victims are unknown and Mexican authorities have still not publicly acknowledged a massive kidnapping. Read Article
