Josefina Vázquez Mota, Mexican presidential candidate, is upset about the appearance of her ad on a narco blog. The Red Política reports the ad was displayed on the “Blog de Narco” site, a website discussing the controversial topic of drug violence related to organized crime. Representatives for Vázquez Mota assure the public that she is devoted to the fight against narco-trafficking and organized crime. Her campaign asked Google to remove the ad, claiming the company lacked control over its ads. However, the ad was still visible on the page until May 29, 2012. Google said it did not have any ads on the website. Other candidates are reported to have appeared in the blog’s advertisement sections. Read Article
