Mazatlan shootout leaves two dead in front of hotel

Violence has hit the shores of Mazatlan again. Earlier this week per police and press reports, two young men were gunned down in front of the Las Flores Hotel which is located in the middle of the Zona Dorada which was full of tourists and foreigners at the time. Apparently, the two men were trying to evade an attack when they drove into the hotel’s parking lot and enter the hotel. Both men were shot and killed.
