Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil: President Orders “Pacification” Operation in Indigenous Areas

Together, Dilma and her staff will examine the many disputes occurring in these indigenous regions. A dialogue will be held between government officials and small farmers to discuss ways for possible conflict reduction over land disputes Concern for such an operation is the result of a Terena Indian killed last week.
