Margarita Island Venezuela: diving instructor detained for allegedly raping two tourists from Chile

lapatilla.com reported that a Venezuelan scuba diving instructor, aged 19 was arrested as a suspect of raping two Chilean tourists, 31 and 27, on the island of San Pedro de car, part of the Isla Margarita, the prosecutor said today. The Court of Violence against Women of that jurisdiction northeastern Venezuelan Caribbean Córdova Antoni ordered today expect the start of the trial against him in the regional police station, which was transferred on Friday Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) , hours after he denounced the tourists. Cordova will be prosecuted for “sexual and lewd acts,” said the attorney in a statement.
