Man arrested after attempting to enter U.S. from Mexico with drugs strapped to body

A 57-year-old was detained after U.S. customs officials caught him with drugs strapped to his body as he attempted to cross the border. He had intended to pass into the United States from Reynosa, Mexico to Hidalgo, Texas. The suspect had legal documents to prove he was a citizen of the United States, but had no passport, Zocalo Saltillo reports. The suspect was concealing two packages of methamphetamine, weighing one kilo, 390 grams, and one package of heroin, at 531 grams. He also had 69.5 grams of cocaine and six ecstacy pills.
