Low alert for hurricane headed towards western coast of Mexico

The National Weather Service says that “Jova” moves to 9 mph east winds and accompanied by gusts of 185 kilometers, making it a Category 1 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale.
Hurricane “Jova” which in the last hours has escalated and is “very close” to climb to category two, moving slowly toward the coast of Jalisco and Colima in western Mexico, where the Civil Protection services maintain a “green alert” (low risk), officials said. Read Article
