Living in Ecuador may be source of asthma and allergies by increased exposure to UV rays

According to somospacientes.com,People living in Ecuador could have a significantly higher risk of developing asthma and allergies. And not only by the greater range of allergens consistent with equatorial climates, but mainly by the increased exposure to ultraviolet B (UV-B) characteristic of these latitudes. This was a study carried out by researchers from the School of Public Health, University of Melbourne (Australia) and published in the journal Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology , the official organ of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI ).
