Lima Peru: historic building from 1700’s collapses, squatters left homeless

According to telegraph.co.uk, An historic colonial building housing up to 17 families collapsed in Lima after it sustained structural damage from an overnight fire. The mansion, known as the Casona El Buque, was built in 1753 and was designated a national monument in 1988 and later a UNESCO heritage site in 1991. Read Article
