Lima, Peru: Budget Approved Poor Area Projects

According to Peru21.pe the Lima city council approved a budget of 10.5 million soles for 22 projects in poorer zones of the capital on the 1st of July. Officials say that the projects will consist of 12 new staircases, 10 new outdoor recreation areas and a smaller budget of about 5.92 million soles for improvements of traffic-light systems. The area between the streets of Aramburu and Angamos is one area where improvements will be made, officials report.
