Latin America Power plans on installation of 1GW of capacity in Chile, Peru

bnamericas.com reported energy developer Latin America Power (LAP) has outlined plans to add 1GW of installed capacity in Chile and Peru by 2018. Peru will comprise 350MW and Chile 650MW in new projects, LAP’s commercial manager Maurício Caamaño said during the 10th BNamericas Southern Cone Energy Summit in Lima on Thursday. “Of this total 806MW are already under development as per the working schedule,” Caamaño said.
