Latin America: Hostile environment for the press

Venezuela and Ecuador are the most hostile environments for the press, but the problem covers several countries. These are not good times for press freedom in America . Although, by definition, quality journalism is always antagonistic to the healthy dialectic between press and government is less common than open confrontation. The diagnosis varies by country, but it is worrying that, for many governments in the region, the journalist has become an enemy to be disparaging, ring and pursue as a matter of state. Read Article
