Latin America: calorie consumption increases across the region along with health risks

The countries of Latin America have increased calorie consumption supported by economic improvement that exists in the whole region, but a sedentary lifestyle and lack of physical activity is safe for health, said today the Mexican endocrine Fernando Lavalle. Lavalle, director of the Beverage Institute for Health and Welfare (IBSB) of the Coca-Cola, told Efe that is “well documented” increased caloric intake of the population, which stood above the 3,200 daily calories.
