Latin America and Arab countries seek to create investment ties

El Universo reported that…. Promoting linkages in strategic sectors such as energy, finance and agriculture, will be one of the main themes of the third summit ASPA celebrating on Monday and Tuesday in Lima Arab and South American countries.

Heads of State and Government of both regions agreed at the first summit in 2005 in Brasilia, strengthen the exchange of information and technological capacity and promoting investment in the capital market, agriculture, energy and mining.

His ministers of Economy and Development emphasized, a year later, that should encourage public and private companies to build links and implement initiatives to promote investment and technical cooperation in the energy sector, as both regions are powers in oil and natural gas. Read Article
