La Merced Mexico: Half ton of fireworks seized

As part of preventive action Cometa Independence Day 2012, the Ministry of Public Security of the Federal District (SSPDF) seized more than 500 thousand kilos of fireworks that were marketed in the vicinity of La Merced Market.

In a statement the agency said that among the material light sticks are insured and witches, to dynamite explosives manufactured with Chinese-made high level of risk as doves, guns, quail eggs, tiger claws and Hulk, among others. Read Article
