Kirchner and Morales launch gas pipeline between Bolivia, Argentina

Argentine president Cristina Kirchner commented on the economic status of the country, stating that if reelected for another term, she will ensure industry growth and Argentina will remain a model of democratized growth around the world, according to infobae.com. The remarks were made at the Casa Rosada yesterday afternoon during a ceremony held to officially open the Juana Azurduy pipeline, which Krishna says will ensure the supply of energy to Argentina. Bolivian president Evo Morales was also in attendance. The binational pipeline between Bolivia and Argentina will provide companies in each nation with between 7.7 and 11 million cubic meters of natural gas daily. The line will run from Campo Margarita in Tarija, Bolivia to Madrejones at the Argentine border and 35 kilometers in Argentina to Campo Durán in Salta.
