From lainformacion.com on June 3, 2013- The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) of the Dominican Republic reported that it detained Bruno Fracasso, an Italian citizen, for attempting to transport drugs to Spain via small bags he had previously ingested. The arrest occurred at the International Airport of the Americas after authorities, suspicious of Fracasso, had him x-rayed by the radiological unit at the airport. Doctors removed 163 small bags of drugs from Fracasso and he remains hospitalized as medical staff can’t rule out that there may be more drugs present. The drugs have been sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) to determine if the drugs were cocaine or heroin. Read Article
