Issued severe storm alert much of Argentina (April 5, 2012)

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued an alert last night “storms likely” to Buenos Aires, central and northeastern Cordoba, Entre Rios, Santa Fe, south of Corrientes, and to Santiago del Estero.
According to part of 2330 (No. 4), “on the center of Cordoba, southern Santa Fe and Entre Rios are developing areas of thunderstorms, some of which have characteristics of strong to severe with a high intense rainfall and fall of hail. “”It is expected to move northeastward, affecting the rest of the coverage area in the coming hours,” said the NMS.
