Interview with Pastrana: FARC wants to return to guerrilla warfare

When the tenth anniversary of the breaking of the peace process with FARC, Semana magazine interviewed Colombian president Andres Pastrana on the possibility of future dialogue between the government and the guerrilla group. Pastrana also referred to the Conservative Party, the former president Alvaro Uribe and the government of Juan Manuel Santos.
Week: Do you think, from the teachings he left the peace process in his government ten years ago, now have conditions for talks with the FARC?
Andres Pastrana: The FARC have given no sign that they want peace. Two weeks ago spoke of returning soldiers and police officers while they returned to terrorist attacks.
