IDB: Central American ports need to improve ports to meet expansion of Panama Canal

The Central American countries must adapt and improve its ports and roads to new freight conditions that will allow the expansion of the Panama Canal, according to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

Ports and roads in Central America and the Dominican Republic “should be able to download and shipments much larger move, and do so more quickly and efficiently,” say two reports released today by the Bank in connection with the opening of its annual , held in Panama. Read Article
