High Transportation Costs Prior to Peruvian Elections

Acording to RPP.com.pe a large number of Peruvians decided not to travel to polling sights within the country due to high transportation costs. Many people have to travel to vote and with high transportation costs many were wondering whether it was worth it. RPP found that the price of tickets to Huancayp, Tarma and La Oroya is usually between 10 to 15 soles. Before the election the price rose to 25 to 30 soles.
