Hidalgo, Mexico: leading cause of death, diabetes

Because each year in the state recorded 800 deaths a thousand associated with diabetes mellitus, this condition is placed on top of the causes of death in the state, revealed the Ministry of Health in Hidalgo.
The state agency said that diabetes is characterized by high levels of blood sugar. “It is a chronic disease in which the pancreas does not produce insulin or the body can not use effectively. Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas to regulate blood sugar, “he said. Read Article
