Heavy rains recorded in Chiclayo and Piura

Heavy rains expected through May 2012
The flooding of the river Ñaupe in Olmos was about to gain its first victim. The force of water crawled a tanker truck carrying ten thousand gallons of fuel. The driver escaped death drive. At mile 139.5 of the road, the overflowing river destroyed part of the track linking Lambayeque and Piura. At the scheduled vehicles can only travel along a single track. Meanwhile, rains resumed strongly in Piura. Large puddles and mud were formed in different parts of the city, making the pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
