Health Emergency Uruguay: respiratory virus hitting population hard

HEALTH AUTHORITIES TAKE ACTION TO CONFRONT EMERGING RESPIRATORY VIRUS
The strong presence of respiratory viruses in the saturated region and raised public hospital waiting times in emergencies. This was announced by the president of ASSE Beatriz Silva important in explaining delays in care. Meanwhile investigating the deaths of two people in the Coast Hospital have found that bed in the ICU. Over the winter of ASSE plan, Silva said he ran more than 60% of resources by hiring 300 people to work in different emergency services, clinics, first level of care, neonatal intensive care and children, and adults , both in Montevideo and in the interior.
