Guatemala: Shelters assisting citizens from cold temperatures

Sacatepéquez is the department where more people have sought shelter from the cold temperatures, according to the monitoring that takes place the National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (Conrad). Since the cold season began in early November until yesterday, have been addressed Sacatepéquez two thousand 25 people in shelters set up in the living Holy Mother of Antigua Guatemala, where he attended about 35 people daily. In the heat people find shelter and food to protect against low temperatures. In Quetzaltenango one thousand 560 people have been treated at the three shelters set up in the capital and have attended a thousand 157 people.
