Government in El Salvador calls for price freeze on grains and sugar

Party government proposes to establish, by legislative decree, ceilings on grain prices of beans, rice, sugar and millet.
The FMLN presented yesterday a piece of correspondence to the Legislature to enact “Transitional provisions for the stabilization of prices of basic grains and white sugar.”The Left Party wants than by legislative decree put “limits” to the prices of eight products. Read Article
