Government granted 1,314 visas to Peruvians residing in Ecuador

Elcomercio.com reported that Ecuador granted 1 314 visas to Peruvian workers in the framework of a regularization program implemented since last year, said Tuesday the Secretariat (Ministry) National Migration (Senami). He noted that since March 2011, the Ecuadorian authorities gave visa to that number of Peruvians living in the Andean provinces of Loja and Azuay, both south and the latter border with Peru.
