Fear of flooding in Darien, Panama

Residents of the community Yaviza Saboga in Darien, do not hide their concern about the heavy rains that fall on that part of the country, which brings back bad memories of the floods that occurred last year to this time.
The director general of the National Civil Protection System, Arturo Alvarado, attributed the situation to the phenomenon of La Niña, which puts pressure on the Pacific slope. Read Article
