FARC willing to begin peace talks with Colombian government

The top leader of the FARC, alias “Timoshenko” confirmed his willingness to begin peace talks with the government of President Juan Manuel Santos, but stressed that sit down and talk does not mean surrender, according to a statement.

The statement of “Timoshenko” is dated April 14 from the “mountains of Colombia” and appeared Thursday at the website of the New Colombia News Agency (Anncol).
