FARC still strong after death of “Cano”, says Dutch guerrilla

Tanja Nijmeijer on Wednesday granted an interview with Dutch public television. He said that illegal armed group remains strong despite the death last November of its top leader, Alfonso Cano. “The FARC go ahead without ‘Cano’, there have been many military actions after his death, which is a sign that we go ahead and that the end of the FARC is far,” said Nijmeijer in an interview broadcast on Wednesday the Dutch public television NOS.
