FARC requested to provide locations of minefields, Colombia

Caracol.com.co reported that Daniel Avila, director of the Presidential Program for Comprehensive Action against Antipersonnel Mines, called on the FARC to reveal the areas where these explosive devices have to proceed to its deactivation. “We need to have information to know where these minefields, that way we could develop protection measures, education and prevention, and of course proceed to humanitarian demining in areas where possible,” said Avila.
