FARC may have other plans for Ecuador other than an administrative base

he FARC should not generate violence and political actions in Ecuadorian territory, a scenario that, by his own will, was defined more than 50 years as an area to perform only administrative activities: communication, trauma care, rest, supply, logistics …

So security experts said Gustavo Lalama and Luis Caicedo (Army officers-sp-), compared to a presumed intention of the group assembling to use Ecuadorian territory to plan political actions aimed at the presidential elections in that country.

An Ecuadorian military intelligence report linked the appearance of the National Patriotic Council political movement in Colombia, the guerrillas intent on having a new political wing, after the data from a computer seized by the army in March, Esmeraldas (border with Colombia ) which had belonged to the FARC.
