FARC Leftist forces in Colombia continue their struggle

Leftist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, known as FARC continue their cat-and-mouse battles, in the nation’s almost five-decade-old conflict. “It’s tough fighting in all this mud,” a guerrilla named “Adrian” says. Flinching with every shot he or his comrades fired, he explained that “This is to slow the army’s advance. Within two or three days they’ll take up new positions and we’ll fight them,” he added.
