FARC Guerilla Sentenced to 43 Years for Massacre of Indigenous People

•FARC guerilla alias Marcolino was sentenced to 43 years of prison for the massacre of at least 4 indigenous people in 2009.
•El-nacional.com reports that Omar Rolando Herrera led members of FARC to murder four individuals that have been fully identified in the Tortugaña-Telembí reservation in Nariño, Colombia bordered by Ecuador.
•FARC admitted to the murders of the indigenous people who they believed were aiding the Colombian army.
